1950s vintage set from Thailand. This is a formal complete set for 12 people. I believe they are a coated brass, not completely sure. These were my late great aunts. I have two actually (we're have a huge family!) both are new without any wear. She told me they were actually a wedding gift.(Japanese, it would be unheard of to regift or return!) they are in a handy, lovely walnut box. Red velvet like material inside. the lowest I've seen these posted for half the size is $300. I'm a buy single mom just trying to be prepared for Christmas this year! So Auntie forgive me! But they are priced to sell!!! This weighs 30.3 lbs!!!AN UPDATE! THESE ARE BRONZE! Now we know! Thanks for looking.
