I like to make most of my pieces with an implicit narrative: this one happens to be “festive gnome with viola disturbs local wildlife” :) This OOAK hanging diorama is made from an extra small vintage ornament box, frosted with beautiful German glass glitter, & backed with an antique Christmas postcard. The vintage gnome is a tiny lead figure, & an even tinier lead goose takes flight in the background. His reluctant audience the vintage mini fawn & (lazier) goose are contemplating their escape in the snowy banks. A little squirrel perches in the treetops above armed with pinecones, possibly en route to the gnome's head… Vintage mercury glass buy feather tree ornaments add some extra sparkle along with an amazing NOS candle & bottlebrush wreath floral pick.
